The location was idyllic!

5 of 5
We enjoyed snow and sunshine. The location was very quiet - quiet enough for deer and birds. Even 'though we had neighbours, we felt secluded and access to the lake and boats was a luxury. Indoors, we had 3 good bedrooms with storage and the children's room had an exciting hiding place in the loft. The sauna was fun and 2 shower rooms were very convenient. The living area was luxurious with the ability to dine inside or outside. We were never too hot or too cold and there was plenty of light from all the windows. Our hostess was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed at the start of our stay. One small quibble - the internet was intermittent so that we could not communicate easily with the outside world. The holiday was restful!

First class!!

5 of 5
The house is so comfortable and so interesting . It was warm and cosy in the colder part of the week and really hot when the sun shone . It is very well equipped and beautifully furnished . There are many of the owners own art works here and these are really beautiful . There is lots of land outside giving a really relaxed feel to the whole place . There is also a nice sauna in the garden . There are lovely views all around you . The owners are next door and they are very helpful and friendly . We enjoyed walking in the forests locally . A wonderfully relaxing and interesting week . We would go again .
