A holiday rental home in Nevis, St Kitts & Nevis is like renting a holiday home in paradise.

Nevis is truly an island paradise. With gorgeous landscape, interesting history and black sandy beaches, you will never want to leave. A holiday rental home in Nevis is a luxurious way to enjoy all the island has to offer whilst surrounded by all of the comforts of home.

Things to do on holiday to Nevis

There is plenty to do on this tropical island. Relax on the black sand beaches or partake in any number of water sports, such as fishing, swimming or wind surfing. Horseback riding, golfing, hiking and mountain biking can all be done in the most gorgeous of settings. With all that there is to do and see, some choose to just relax on the beach whilst sipping a fruity island drink. Seafood lovers will especially enjoy the food available on Nevis which includes some of the freshest seafood you will ever eat.

Places to visit on holiday to Nevis

The Clay Villa Plantation House & Gardens was establishing is 1763. It boasts amazing views, beautiful gardens and guests can tour the home. There is also a museum with artefacts such as pottery, tapestries, sculptures and more dating from ancient times until the present day. Diamond Botanical Gardens is more than 2000 acres of lush landscaping with a highlight of the property being the Diamond Waterfall. Nevis Peak is the volcano that actually created Nevis. This area is perfect for hiking and mountain biking. The truly adventurous can hire a guide and hike all the way to the peak. St. Kitts Scenic Railway today offers a unique way to see parts of the island, but was once an important part of the sugar industry in Nevis. SCUBA divers must make a trip to the Wreck of the River Taw. This is a favourite wreck among divers. This ship sunk in 1985 and is now surrounded by coral and is home to a variety of fish.

Weather in Nevis

There is everything to love about the weather in Nevis. Perpetually warm and sunny, this island is a perfect spot for those who enjoy the beach and all sorts of activities in the out of doors. The daily average temperature year round is between 24 and 31 degrees. The breeze blowing from the sea is refreshing and helps make it feel a bit cooler than the temperatures would suggest.

Outstanding Destination

5 of 5
Our second year at the beautiful Hummingbird House on Nevis and just as memorable as the first. Everything is attended to by the wonderful hosts/owners, Clair & Richard Lax; from taxi service from the airport on St. Kitts to the speedboat ride over to Nevis to a refrigerator stocked with all you'll need for breakfast and even ice cold Carib beer and Ting, the local grapefruit soft drink. It's all arranged and ready for you to enjoy upon arrival. There is a sense of coming home at Hummingbird House - the cabinets are stocked with everything you have at home and maybe even a few additional items! The furniture is comfortable and functional and the large screened porch is ideal for relaxing, reading, entertaining and serving meals in the fresh air. All in all, a wonderful experience. In fact, we've already reserved our next visit in March, 2018!

TooMuchNice is Paradise...wonderful!!!

5 of 5
TooMuchNice is the perfect place to stay on Nevis!!! We enjoyed six wonderful weeks there recently. The location is great, the house is beautiful and the staff, (Ian, Savi and David), and the owners Julie and Roger were all a delight. Although we did use the great BBQ at the house quite a bit, we also enjoyed meals and drinks at Nisbet Plantation (particularly loved the very historical-feeling bar area), Hermitage (Weds. pig roast), Montpelier, Golden Rock (sit under the big tree overlooking the fish ponds and restaurant), Mt. Nevis Hotel (late afternoon), Bananas (a favorite), Double Deuce, Lime, Yachtsman, The Gin Trap, Chrishi Beach, Coconut Grove, the Oasis at the Botanical Gardens, Cafe des Arts, Turtle Time, Sunshine's, Indian Summer and two favorite little, local gems-one called Passion owned and operated by Karen and Bombay Bites ( next to the runway at the airport). Please don't miss the chance to visit Nevis. Staying at TooMuchNice made our time on this lovely and friendly island a trip that was full of great experiences and memories.
