Villa: This is a great family villa. 3 large rooms (this could easily sleep 9 people), all ensuite and a toilet downstairs too. The kitchen is really well equipped and the welcome pack we arrived to was very generous. We had everything we needed for eating in as well as handy supplies like cling film, salt, washing up liquid, fly swats and fly spray (essential!). There were ample towels in the rooms as well as pool towels.
Outdoors: I can't tell you how amazing the view is - we have about 100 pictures of it because is seemed to change depending on the weather/time of day. The pool was lovely - we paid for heating which was well worth it (in October). There were plenty of loungers and space. The hot tub was lovely in the evening after the sun had gone down. Lots of balcony space too. There were only 4 of us, but if you went there with other families, there's lots of space for everyone to feel relaxed.
The TV had more channels than we do at home! Lots of sky and UK channels which was good on the rainy days. WiFi was good and fast.
Location: It was a simple 45 minute drive from Malaga airport and were were met by Dennis and shown around the villa. We drove to Antequera (50 minutes) and Nerja (45 minutes) whilst there (in search of better weather!). The very local small towns are very small and we didn't find anywhere nearby to walk down a town centre, but that wasn't a problem. There's a supermarket (very small but had everything we needed) in Los Romanes which is an interesting 5 minute drive through very narrow streets! You definitely need a car if you are staying here, but the roads are very easy to navigate - this was my first time driving in Spain (I'm from the UK) and it was really easy.
General: The info provided by the owners was excellent - great communicators. We are hoping to go back soon, possibly in a larger group, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa to others, especially families ... with a car!
A lovely cottage with everything needed to make a perfect stay.
Nice hosts and a lovely setting.
The road to the accommodation was a little rough for our motorhome, but very possible. Great walk to el torcal.
Neighbouring dogs make the walks interesting!
