If you were to single out a single attraction to see from a Valencia holiday property, the City of Arts and Sciences would come close to the top of the list. Attracting over 4 million visitors every year, the centre delights both adults and children alike.

The city beaches of Malvarrosa and Levante are hugely popular assets to take advantage of from Valencia accommodation, especially as the promenades which runs along the back of the beaches are filled with excellent restaurants and small boutiques. Despite being located in the centre of a city, the beaches are remarkably clean, and the waters of the Mediterranean amazingly clear and clean. However, there is a noticeable change into rural scenery as you reach Saler Beach to the south, which boarders the famous L’Albufera Nature Reserve. Water sports are hugely popular from the beach too, including sailing, scuba diving and windsurfing.

Villas here have access to all four courses in El Saler, Escorpion, Oliva Nova and El Bosque, and if you travel slightly beyond the golf courses, you will discover a land that could have been designed specifically for walking, mountain biking, horse riding and mountaineering; the Valencia Mountains.

There are many centuries of history surrounding the holiday rentals in Valencia. Many days can be spent quietly strolling through the streets taking in the extraordinary beauty and learning about the fascinating and diverse history of the city. The Cathedral of Valencia is a great place to start your exploration from a Valencia property, and the Miguelete tower is an essential monument for visitors to see, although there are many sights which ought to be seen whilst on a Valencia holiday.

Perfect apartment for a city break

5 of 5
From beginning to end of the booking it has been a very smooth process. Excellent communication from Luis at all times. The apartment is perfect, spacious, clean and a good location too. So nice to have shampoo and shower gel etc for us to use in the apartment so we didnt need to take our own although we did take some things with us which we have left behind for others to use such as suntan lotion. It takes about half hour to get to the airport via the metro, very easy journey. 17 minute walk to the Market (we timed it) which is a good starting point for the old town - it is open from 8 am until 2.30 pm. We got lost on arrival coming out of Angel Guimera station so more specific directions would have been handy but we found it after quite a walk. Plus the front door is stiff, as explained in the Tenants Notes, so persevere because we thought we couldn't get in. Angel Guimera station is quite large and there are several exits. Finding the correct exit will make your walk to the apartment much easier. Ask Luis for the exact name of the exit as I can't remember it but I know you have to walk through one section of the station to another part of it and along a different platform before exiting. The metro takes you to the beach which is huge and has s selection of umbrellas, sun loungers or just miles and miles of sand to sit on. We dined in the Marina Beach club which wasn't expensive. The apartment feels like home and has everything you would expect in your own home such as iron, hairdryer, airer, toaster, DVD etc etc. Beds were comfy and clean. The Danish supermarket is brilliant and Luis is correct in saying buy the ugly oranges they give so much juice. Thank you Luis for renting out your lovely apartment.

Really nice stay

5 of 5
The apartment was well situated near everything we wanted to visit (15-20min walk to jardin del Turin and the city of sciences) and had everything we could have needed. On top of this, Monica and Simon were very helpful from start to finish and there was a folder in the apartment with all the information we might need about how things worked and guides for Valencia. All in all this made for a very pleasant stay and I would definitely recommend it.
