  • A beautiful village house - stunning views and ambience

Really beautiful house, very well equipped and appointed. Highly recommended. We loved Gaucin, the bars and restaurants, and the surrounding area. Walking routes, day trips to the Roman port of Baelo, eating Boquerones on the beach and Ronda in the other direction. Stunning scenery - we thought it was the most beautiful part of Andalusia that we visited on this trip and less 'touristy'. We were looked after very well by Josefi, who was very kind when I forgot where the key was, having arrived in a thunderstorm and torrential rain!! Thank you.

This made the perfect base for a winter walking holiday in Andalucia. The mill is definitely fairly basic, but is charming and very cosy with the wood burning stove lit in evening. It’s tucked away from a quiet road, perched above a pretty stream and we’ll set up for a self-catering holiday. The surrounding area is beautiful - would thoroughly recommend for an out of season trip!
