Fantastic

In every way this place was fantastic. The quality and cleanliness of the house to the incredible views from the terrace/pool. My ONLY advice would be is to be prepared for the drive up there...you don't get views like that without having to go high up first.

Great villa up in the hills. Really enjoyed our stay. But beware of the cleaning fee.

We stayed at Casa Soleada for a week in August 2017. It’s in a beautiful, quiet rural location high up in the hills (500m above sea level). The view to the mountains and the sea is amazing and the villa itself excellent. A couple of things worth noting though. The villa is about 4km along a steep concrete/dirt track from the nearest main road. A regular car is fine but a bit of a trek just to get to the local village of Sayalonga. The other thing to bear in mind is that there is a mandatory 60 Euro cleaning fee buried in the rental agreement. This is deducted from the security deposit and is over and above the advertised rental price of the villa. To my mind it would be fairer to include this fee upfront in the advertised price. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the communications from the villa owner Oleg were always clear and reliable.
