Superb Finca, lovely gardens and outdoor facilities. Great cycling/touring location. Perfect hosts.

We know Mallorca very well and wanted somewhere peaceful and away from the summer crowds and beaches. This home has only just been made available from July, so do not be in any way concerned that it has not had visitors before this season. It is exceptionally clean and fabulously presented. Beds and bedding and linen all brand new, as well as new BBQ, nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge and washer/dryer. Aircon in the bedroom we used was very effective. Wifi works outside. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners and the welcome pack was lovely. They are truly exceptional hosts and their experience in the hospitality industry shows. They visited the house twice in a week to ensure everything was ok, that nothing was needed and that the terraces and pool were all fully cleaned. The garden is a joy, exceptionally well maintained, idyllic and extremely private. Beautiful clean pool. Neighbouring houses are far enough away that you do not disturb anyone. The house is on a no-through lane so there is no passing traffic and it is fully screened by the gardens and trees from all sides. You can hear traffic from the relatively nearby MA-13 but this was not an issue. Security at the property is very good, with electric gates and an alarm for the property. The garden lighting is extensive and really sets off the grounds at night. This is a genuine Mallorcan finca with some beautiful artifacts, art and curio's. It is best for people who will appreciate a traditional Mallorcan home and who are prepared to care and respect the property as if it were their own. Therefore it may not suit families with small children. Santa Maria is a fabulous location for cyclists and those who want to explore the island given it's central location. Car is therefore essential. Thank you Mariano and Nicoletta for an amazing week!

Samuel is a great host and the house is cosy

The house is situated not far from the village center. Samuel both picked us up (4 people) at the airport and gave us a ride back. Perfect! As we are climbers we got a lot of good tips from Samuel about where to go. Was recommended to visit the old town of Valldemossa and was not disappointed :) The house is equipped with all that you need, we cooked almost everyday without any issues. Two bedrooms at the top floor, perfect for four people. Since it's only one layer of wooden floor you hear everything between the floors, just a reminder :)
