Just 4km inland from the bay of Sant Antoni is the village of Calonge, and visitors to the area will likely find themselves dividing their time between the two. The old village dates back to the 13th century, and that history is evident in some of the buildings – such as the old town walls and the towers of Calonge Castle. The village has a more traditional feel than Sant Antoni de Calonge, with traditional Catalan shops lining the narrow streets. The town of Palamos is just a short distance away, and the home of one of the last remaining fishing fleets in the region. In the opposite direction, Platja d’Aro is a modern resort which has a busy nightlife and a cosmopolitan vibe.

Great central location

We spent a month here. Two teenagers myself and my husband. The house is exactly as described well equipped and very near the beach. The pool and gardens are very well kept. The area has a lot to offer to all generations. I would recommend this house to families as the complex is quiet. The road is a bit busy but we got used to it.
