Things to do in Portol

-The Son Amar, situated approximately 20 kilometres west of Portol, showcases dinner theatre at its finest. My first trip to Palma and it is a beautiful city. The apartment location is brilliant in the heart of the old town and close to beaches, transport links and shopping centres, you feel the buzz of the city as soon as you walk out of the door, but once in the apartment it is quiet and peaceful. It was very tastefully decorated, clean and bright with everything you need for living for a short or longer stay. Merce and Victoria, the owners, were very friendly and helpful. Merce met me at Plaza de Cort to show me the apartment, she also pointed out necessary things on a city map like supermarkets, bus links, great beaches, tapas bars which was really helpful. Palma is a great base to see the rest of the island if you don't want to hire a car, I took the train to Soller and bus trips to Illetas beach and also to visit friends elsewhere on the island. I will definitely come back - great city.
