Fabulous apartment and great location

5 of 5
This was the first time I have used HomeAway and what a great experience to have. The apartment was perfect for me and my three teenage children. Easy reach to the beach and ideally located for the metro into the centre and pretty much all of the places we wanted to visit in Barcelona. The description of the apartment is very accurate, although it is even nicer than you will be expecting. We crammed a lot into a week as a result. The apartment is quiet, as are the surrounding neighbours. It is in a nice area with plenty around within walking distance, so there is no need for a car. If you are looking to be right in the centre and in the hustle and bustle of Barcelona, then probably not for you, but it was perfect for us and what we wanted. There are local shops, restaurants and even a large supermarket all on your doorstep....not forgetting to mention a couple of superb ice cream shops. We would have loved to have stayed longer. I would happily visit again.

Great apartment and Excellent Host!

5 of 5
We were a group of guys aged 27-58 and the apartment was perfect for us. Carles was a brilliant host and nothing was too much trouble for him from the moment we booked to the moment we left. The pinball machine and table football were nice touches and the hot tub was brilliant. I was slightly concerned about the location but should not have been at all, we were near the beach and sights in the day and at night there were plenty of bars and clubs in the area (although you can't hear anything from the outside world in the apartment which was great - probably the help of the soundproofing). Will definitely be returning!
