  • Great Finca, close to the historic, rural and wine growing town of Petra
    4 of 5

Booked as a last minute break for my elderly folks, this Finca was an ideal spot. Very cosy, peaceful, great pool, veranda and just down the road from the sleepy but historic market town of Petra. Two bedrooms and bathrooms - all very clean. They had wonderful time exploring by car (the beaches are not too far away as long as you have your own transport). They also loved the wonderful restaurants in Petra's square (apparently the town is a bit of a gastronomic gem) and tasting some high quality wines that are produced in the town's local vineyards. If you like a rural escape/history, they said it felt like you were seeing a bit of hidden Mallorca.

  • Lovely arty feel to traditional Spanish house. Easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants
    5 of 5

Owners very helpful excellent literatutre and maps detailing places of interest and train time tables. Access to railway station just 10 minutes walk away providing easy route into Palma and Sineu in one diection and Manacor to the East. Ancient market at Sineu we’ll worth a visit. Only 25 minutes drive to beach at Can Picafort. Very safe beautiful beach. Petra very attractive ancient village with two lovely Churches. Two local supermarkets well stocked and staff spoke good English. Also good location for cycling. We hired bikes and rode to Sineu one day and on other days to Algaida and San Joan. Country roads from Petra very attractive with scent of fruit and Mediterranean plants. House beautifully furnished with lovely art work. On suite to main bedroom with another excellent bathroom upbstairs. Rear yard area very quaint with upstairs and downstairs seating. Table outside nice place to eat and relax. Really enjoyed our holiday . Thank you Cheryl and Amauri. From Peter and Jan Tilson
