Lovely Villa for a relaxing holiday

            4 of 5
Booked the villa at the last minute - communication with the villa manager was excellent and key pick up was simple and easy to find. "Road" up to the villa is not for the faint hearted but that's nothing unusual for villa's in Spain. Villa itself was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. You will get some road noise from the motorway but we didn't find this obtrusive. View from patio table in the evenings over the hills behind the pool is nice. Driving to the centre of Nerja takes 10 minutes as does driving up to Frigliana. You can actually walk the Chillar River directly from the villa (takes 10 minutes to walk to location where everyone else has to find parking to start the walk) - if you do this allow 5.5 hours to the waterfall and back. TV has Channels 1-4 and BBC News, CBBC etc. and villa has wifi which has good speed. Would definitiely consider staying here again.

Perfect base to explore & relax

            4 of 5
We have just returned from a fantastic two week stay at Villa Seral. This house is excellent. It is comfortable, clean, well furnished with plenty of room even for a party of 9. The best part of the Villa though is the outside. The pool area is wonderful, the shaded outdoor dining area perfect and the outdoor kitchen excellent. A vehicle is definitely preferable with the Villa being approx. 2 miles from the centres of both the lovely hill town of Frigiliana and the equally nice seaside town of Nerja. A few points I feel worth making are:- • The road down to the Villa is both steep and very rutted so low slung or low powered vehicles struggle as well as would the more immobile person. • The pool whilst excellent has a shallow end approx. 1.4m deep and quickly drops away to over 2m at its deepest meaning that young children or weak swimmers may not find it to their liking. • I was slightly concerned that the proximity of the main A7 road would make it noisy but as there was no problem with this at all. • Finally, the description of the villa mentions air conditioning however unless we missed something this just consisted of ceiling fans to 4 of the 5 bedrooms which was a slight disappointment especially in the heat of the August nights. Spain Sun Rentals were very helpful through the whole process, especially Juan Carlos & Maribel and the owners Pili & Antonio were always on hand to sort any minor problems we had. In summary, this house proved to be great value and a perfect base for our holiday and I would highly recommend it as a place to stay to explore this lovely area of the world.

            Gorgeous place

Four of us spent Christmas week at La Rana. It is a lovely spacious house with wonderful pool area and large BBQ terrace. Pool was cold as we knew it would be in Dec but we still jumped in daily. I would recommend this house to anyone and would love to rent it again myself when next in the area.
