We were delighted with the accommodation and the welcome we received.

The area has lots to offer in terms of hiking. You have to be fit as the terrain is fairly rugged! Also it is a bit of a hike into Berzocana if you fancied a meal and a drink and didn’t want to risk using a car. However, if you stock up, there’s no better way to spend an evening than sitting on the terrace watching the Storks on the clocktower, we were lucky enough to see two Golden Orioles one evening. Access to WiFi was excellent. Whilst we were there the Extreme Mountain Bike race ‘Titan’ was held which was very exciting, the participants went past the entrance of the property and there were ample places to watch their progress - very challenging race! We had a very enjoyable holiday. 😁😁

Lovely house in a beautiful village -surrounded by nature

5 of 5
A birdwatcher's paradise! We loved this village, high on a hillside beneath the crags. 3 species of vultures flew by (often at eye level) and eagles circled overhead. Azure winged magpies, corn buntings, black stork, rock bunting and many more. Numerous lovely walks - up to the ancient castle, out into the cork oak forests or olive groves or down to the local rivers. Being there in spring we loved the little daffodils behind the castle. The house is simple but lovely and very comfortable. Ample firewood was provided for the cooler evenings. If you want somewhere remote, peaceful and full of nature, this is perfect.
