Very nice apartment with great views

This was our first visit to Mojacar and couldn't have chosen a better place for us to stay. The apartment was situated towards the top of the Pueblo with magnificent views looking down over the stunning countryside towards the coast. It was very comfortable and provided a very relaxed place to stay. The apartment suited us perfectly to enjoy Mojacar itself and to use as a base to explore the surrounding area

The apartment is well located in the village of Mojacar Pueblo close to the small shops and restaurants and easy to find.It has a lovely sunny outlook being on the third floor and getting the sun all day. The prime draw is the large terrace which is very sunny and also sheltered when the wind is blowing. There is a large bathroom and comfortable bedroom. Security to the block is good with separate keys for the apartment and entrance. Although the village is very hilly, there is a lift to get from the road parking area up to a short walk along to the apartment. No tv or wifi but a very comfortable cafe with wifi is just round the corner. The week was in fact a nice break from Trump/ Brexit etc. The kitchen area has all needed for a holiday stay, with fridge, microwave and electric oven top. The local restaurants are such good value however that we did not find the need to cook in the apartment. Fresh bread is available (after 9. 15 ish while we were there!) from the nearest supermarket. The large supermarket we used was at Mojacar beach which is a mile away by bus or car. We did hire a car which we found useful as the local buses only go along the playa at Mojacar ( although this is a fair distance), but to get to villages further along the coast or inland a car is necessary. Roads are very good and the coast road towards Cabonaras is spectacular. Being there in February meant that we had a quiet stay but saw the village at its best before the crowds descend. You can spend days wandering round the alleyways and then walking down and back up round the village; there are excellent pedestrian walkways throughout which extend all the way down to the playa. We found this apartment an excellent choice for a holiday, with its spectacular views and good location in a very picturesque hilltop village which gave you a flavour of the real Spain. The village amenities meant that you could be as active or lazy as you liked, and you could easily spend your day lazing on the terrace and exploring the myriad passageways of the village.
