This house is beautiful. The conversion is sympathetic but very modern and comfortable. The views are amazing and great outdoor space. The town is quaint but has some nice shops and a good restaurant all within a short walk from the house. It is well located for exploring the region. David was a great host. We experienced significant delays in our journey but he was still happy to welcome us at the house late at night. He also responded very quickly to a couple of queries we had during our stay. My only comment would be that the house may not be suitable for young children but I think that is obvious from the photos. In saying that we have a two year old and it was fine as long as we supervised him on stairs and in garden. This wouldn’t put me off returning as the standard of the house and this location by far outweigh this small issue. I would highly recommend this house.

We found the villa very well equipped and perfect for our needs. It was very spacious, with room for all of us to eat and sit together, or hide away in peace. The kids loved the pool and there were plenty of loungers, fresh towels and outdoor seating. We loved the area, there were loads of fantastic mountain walks starting from the village. We would definitely return. The house is right in the village yet very private and secure for our young ones. Barcelona and Costa Brava beautiful beaches were great for days out, though we did need the car. The local restaurants were great especially the Chalet Coromina - very interesting food! and just across the road. We have no hesitation in recommending the villa to others.
