  • Beaches in Majorca - Majorca’s coast features some incredible beaches. Weather in Majorca

Located in the Mediterranean, Majorca has a climate typical for the region. Summers are long, warm and dry, with daily highs getting up to around 30 degrees in June, July and August. Arrive in Majorca in spring or autumn and you’ll find a mix of moderately warm and mild weather – average highs still reach the low-20s in late April and early November. Winter conditions are mild, with highs in the mid-teens, but this is also when most of the annual rainfall occurs and storms are common at the start of the season, in October and November.

Travelling to Majorca

Driving is the most convenient way to get around the island and to reach your Majorca self catering accommodation. The motorways converge around Palma to the south west and branch off towards towns such as Inca and Manacor to the east and Andratx to the west. Away from the main roads, which connect all other towns, the remainder of the island is covered by a network of lanes, which tend to be quiet and ideal for cycling. There are three train lines on the island and a metro system with nine stops in Palma. The island’s international airport is minutes east of Palma (PMI).

This was our second stay at Damia's apartment, and nothing has charged from the first time, the apartment is superb, and has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, it is located a very short distance from the beach with great views of the bay, shops and fine restaurants being in abundance and all easily reached. As for the hospitality you won't find it better, a super host who truly makes you feel welcome, nothing is a problem. We truly recommend a holiday here, Five Stars *****

Walking/seaside break for a week

We had a very good week in middle of June. Wall to wall sunshine. The flat itself was good value and functional but could do with a wee refurb to freshen it up. So saying it suited us perfectly as we spent most of the day out. We now miss the view from the veranda but not the couple of nights when there was a bit of noise from street, delivery vans for hotel we thought. Maria was efficient and left us a bag of oranges from her parents garden. We were out when she called so did not get to meet her. We would return to this flat in the future-next year hopefully. Thank you Maria.
