We have just returned from a weeks stay and had a brilliant time. We were a group of girls who spent most of our time using the pool. There was ample room in the house for us all with good wifi coverage There is a supermarket in the town that has a delivery service, which we organised for our arrival day, it arrived before us and it was all put in the fridge etc for us. We had such a wonderful time, we would definitely return in the future and would highly recommend.

A characterful town house in a great location

This house at Calle Castille in Penaflor is ideally located for exploring Andalucía; Cordoba and Seville are well connected by road and train and the National Parks of the Sierra Morena are close at hand for hiking. Penaflor has many small family owned and run shops and bars selling the very best produce. The house is uniquely built in to the old castle wall with stunning views of the 18th Century church dome and tower, complete with storks and their nests. The house does need the work of a carpenter/handyman and there is a shortage of some basic needs; a tetera electrica, more cooking pots and pans, and some wine glasses for our Rioja would have been good! However this did not detract from a terrific three week stay, and mention must be made of the very warm welcome we received from the people of Penaflor. We would certainly return, Henry and Sue.
