  • Lovely quiet property with lots of space both inside and out.

We enjoyed the location as it allowed us to explore the whole island. The bird life was fun to watch with the swallows enjoying the pool as much as us when we were quiet. Hoopoes, redstarts, blackcaps and woodchat shrike were also some of the visitors in the garden. The kitchen was well equipped with a large fridge freezer and so self catering was straight forward. Llubi has a lovely restaurant for fine dining when we wanted to treat ourselves. We enjoyed the market in nearby Sineu with a pony ride for our little granddaughter and the beaches nearby like Platja de Muro are excellent for young children with good sand and sheltered shallow waters. Cycling the Cap de Formentor offered older members of the family the challenge they required and we all enjoyed hiring a boat from the Porte de Pollenca and then swimming and snorkelling in secluded coves. The villa provided a good retreat after we had visited some of the busier resorts on the island with enough sunbeds for us all. We also appreciated the shaded areas provided outside that we could use when we had had enough sun.

  • Outstanding Villa and grounds

The villa contained everything you need and more. The choice of bedrooms and advantage of the annex for the grandparents was fantastic. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning made even the hottest evenings more comfortable. There are numerous seating areas for dining, our favourite was the table at the front of the building to take in the mountain views. The swimming pool was ideal, with steps into the shallow end making it accessible to the older members of our party. The sunbeds were good and easily movable to the shaded areas. The villa is about a 2 mile walk into the nearest town, taking the country lanes, this makes for a wonderful morning stroll to collect fresh bread from the award winning bakery. The village had numerous shops and bars so catered for all our needs. The largest supermarkets were situated about 15 mins away in Inca and the beaches about 25 mins away. Miquel and his wife were fantastic hosts, with beers in the fridge and other treats throughout our stay they made us feel very welcome. A lightning storm took out the water one morning and Miquel arrived, and fixed the issue before we had even noticed! I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting a luxury and tranquil holiday. We hope to be back one day soon.
