A lovely little house in the hills. Picturesque pool to cool down in. Easy access to the beaches of Tarragona. Ron is a great host.

We were in Tarragona for a marine related business meeting and some leisure time. The apartment is just off the motorway between two junctions so we were able to find it easily and park on site securely, which was good as we had luggage with us which we had to leave in the car. Torredembarra AP7 junction was about 15 minutes away, so we drove down that way from an earlier commitment in Barcelona. The area was peaceful and relaxing, so we were able to chill out after our work commitments. Some evenings we took long walks in the nearby port and beach areas which were sunny even in winter. Cambrils was great for yacht life and an assortment of decent eateries. The museums in Tarragona are good, and there is a free council run modern art gallery which is well worth a look. If you enjoy Roman history go and see the restored villa at Constanti about 10-15 minutes away, which they do charge a small fee for, although they said it was free one day a month, so worth checking. We used the highspeed AVE train to get in to Barcelona later in the week and parked in the secure area under the main concourse at Camp de Tarragona station. The secure parking is quite expensive though at 15 euros plus a day. With excess luggage in the car we decided to pay the fee, rather than risk the free roadside parking at the station. We would definitely go back to Tarragona and the apartment was very enjoyable and well located. Next time we would aim for a summer month if we can, so we can use the outdoor pool.
