  • Beautiful, well equipped apartment property, well located at the centre of La Manga Club.

We loved our stay at the Los Olivios community at La Manga Club. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. It seemed to have everything needed for a fortnights stay. Rebecca and John Stroud are the owners and when contacted replied promptly with good information. This apartment is a penthouse with views across the valley, looking over the Pueblo of Bellaluz and up into the hills to the villas. The terrace at the front is extensive with a canopy that extends and retracts which allows shade. The apartment has excellent air conditioning that is easily controlled. Little extras make this place. A massive Samsung TV with access to Netflix, Sky, a playstation and DVD player means that when the kids come back from the pool they can chill out. The pool area is a short walk from the apartment around the back of the apartment block. The pool area is spacious and clean with an abundance of beds. The bonus comes with Los Olivos of an inside pool as well, so as a keen swimmer was able to some lengths in the heat of the day. The swimming pool also houses a small fitness area that is for owners use only, if a way could be made for residents to access this as well would be a great bonus as the gym at the Tennis club is 12 euros a day. La Manga itself is a mature resort with plenty to offer. The restaurants on the complex are good and varied from Tapas to curry and good variations on traditional favourites. We particularly enjoyed La Barra and for Bar food the Last Drop offered some good food. We did not manage to try every restaurant as there are many throughout the resort. The larger super market on the complex is well priced and if you want some fresh meat the Butchers in the nearby Los Belones is excellent. A couple of things I would improve and these are only slight 1) The management company on this property missed our welcome pack which luckily was not doom as we managed to get to the Lidl in Los Alcares on our way from the airport. We also rang them to replace a battery in the canopy remote control which did not arrive. 2) A more detailed map of La Manga would really help new comers especially at the beginning of the stay, Overall a great holiday in a resort that caters for all. It deserves five stars and we will be back I am sure.

Fabulous property - Perfect holiday home, exactly as described and more. Everything you could need is here. It is modern, clean and really spacious. The bathrooms are great - the larger one even giving me ideas for my home. Colin and Marco were fantastic, guiding us before we arrived and responding to questions almost immediately, they were perfect hosts and Maribel greeted us with most lovely welcome, showing us what we needed and then assuring us she was there if we wanted anything. The house is in a great location to explore La Manga Club and only a few steps from the pool which is a wonderfully relaxing space, never too busy and very well maintained. I would highly recommend this awesome property and will definitely be back. Thank you!
