We were a family of 14, consisting of 8 adults and 6 older kids. The whole villa and plot has a feeling of space and none of us felt on top of each other during the stay. The villa is on older style property with thick walls which help keep the villa cool in hot weather. The bathrooms are mostly new and well equipped. Always lots of hot water. There is stacks of furniture both inside and especially outside with many spaces where you can retreat to it you want some shade or a quiet rest. The lounge is massive with Sky TV and very comfortable settees etc. The bedrooms have comfortable beds with lots of storage space. There is a well equipped indoor kitchen but we only used the outside kitchen area which has every amenity and very large sitting area, with three massive tables and plenty of seating. The owner was always responsive to queries and the local agent, housekeeping and pool team provided a very good service. The villa is well maintained .
The villa is in a quiet area of Montgo about 10 mins drive to the port and 15 mins to the Arenal beach area. There are about 4 restaurants with a two minute drive, 10 Min walk. We tried two of them the "Gaucho" which was outstanding with great steaks and in effect a 6/7 course meal of the day cost about 60 Euros for two people including drinks, the other we tried was Montgo, which was a lot less expensive but very good quality, I think the meal of the day was 15 Euros pp or thereabouts. We also went to a couple of others, Scallops which is cheap and cheerful with a bottle of wine to take home pp, and a free breakfast voucher. Don't know how they do it for the few Euros it cost , Los Ramos in Arenal was busy, expensive and not worth the money... Lots of other restaurants with better food and less expensive especially in the port area.
This is our forth visit to Javea so didn't travel too far, but Moraira, Denia, Guadalest, plus many other places are worth visiting . The kids went to Aqua Natura water park and thought it great, much better than the chavish Aualandia, and cheaper.
We have stayed in quite a few villas in the Javea area over several years but would without doubt will recommend this villa to others, in fact hope to visit again later this year or next. The weather was VERY hot for a few days, if I were to suggest any improvement, it would be for more air con, all the rooms have powerful fans with air con in the master bedroom, but it got warm inside when the temps outside was around 35C plus.
