Delightful place to stay

5 of 5
This really is a lovely villa. It’s calm, cool and clean inside - and set in a very pleasant garden. The location is also ideal: within walking distance of Pollenca town and the supermarkets – and a short drive to the beaches at Cala St Vincent. Traffic noise really isn’t an issue – unless you are particularly sensitive ! You can hear a background rumble when you are outside - but it’s not noticeable indoors. In the interests of balance, I would like to find some ‘areas for improvement’ – but it’s hard ! The pool isn’t big enough to swim in – but it’s fine for splashing about: whilst the outside table could be a bit bigger for 4 people – though it’s easy enough to cope with. All in all, a truly excellent property, which I would strongly recommend.

Gorgeous location

5 of 5
The house is perfectly located about 5 minutes walk from Cala Tuent bay which is a stunning location by any measure. The house has everything you could want including air conditioning in the lounge and in one bedroom (it could do with having it in the other bedrooms too) a lovely pool and the views are to die for. For us the added bonus of two kayaks was truly icing on the cake. We went out on the sea most days and when we went quite early (8am)we mostly had the whole beach and bay to ourselves. The only thing to be mindful of (and this can be a plus or a minus depending upon your view) is that Cala Tuent is at the very end of a 6 mile plus mountain road with some 30 hairpin bends. However we found that once you’ve driven it 2 or 3 times you get used to it although you do still have to be carefull especially at busy times when there are some coaches going to Sa Colabra who take no prisoners. The road also makes it a long way to other places of interest and to the nearest shop (nearly an hour each way) but that just means that you need to plan ahead and shop for the week! There are no shops in Cala Tuent and just one restaurant which is very good but only opens in the day time. On balance we would thoroughly recommend this property but be realistic about whether the location is for you.
