                              Fantastic quirky apartment....

                              5 of 5
My wife and I stayed at this fantastic apartment in late September '16 and had a wonderful time. The open plan layout makes for a wonderful spacious feel, leaving a very relaxed vibe to the whole place. This is in no small measure to owner Maria's lovely quirky touches. In fact, her whole imprint is everywhere, no surprise giving her background in fashion. The chairs decorated with comic book images, the chandelier with the bottle light shades, the beautifully designed presses, and the wooden home made coat hangers. It's obvious that this was a labour of love for Maria and it's something you don't see in every apartment, The furniture was very comfortable, something we did not experience last year in our apartment in El Palo. Little things mean a lot. We usually stay on the beach but couldn't see anything we liked , so chose ''La Puebla'. It's only 3 minutes from the beach and although we missed the lovely view we normally get of the sea. the glorious roof terrace more than made up for it. Apart from the beautiful view of the sea and surrounding areas, including the magnificent mountains to the rear, the terrace is a marvellously set out hang out spot. From the dining table for your eats, to the relaxing sofas to unwind sipping your vino. There's even a separate loo and shower to save you going downstairs. Overall, ''La Puebla'' is a spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need to cook, eat , relax and just enjoy. Fancy reading? There's a wide selection of books to choose from, you are even invited to take one !! The tv even has a couple of English speaking channels, something we have not experienced too often. Not that we spent too much time watching tv. Maria also went out of her way to make sure we knew of the best places to visit, not only telling us but leaving a full information packed copy of things to do. Something a lot of owners do not do. The location is excellent. Close enough to walk along the beachfront to El Palo, with it's great selection of bars and restaurants, and handy for the 10 minute bus ride to Malaga city. So we will definitely be back and we recommend Maria's apartment wholeheatedly.

This apartment is a great place for family holidays. I spent 5 days with my 2 young daughters my mum and a friend. Very clean, conformable, WiFi very good. Ester and Cristina very helpful. The area is full of cafes, restaurants and playgrounds, 5 minuts walk to the beach and bus stop to go to the old town. We highly recommend it and will go back! Thank you very much Ester Cristina and Susana. See you soon Renata Ferrari

                              Perfect Easter Holiday in Andalucia

                              5 of 5
We (a family with 3 adult children) had such a good time at Easter 2012 in Barbara’s house at El Palo Beach, Malaga. The house is situated on a small path with no traffic and only some steps from the beach and the promenade. A supermarket and a lot of small shops are only some minutes away. You can go into Malaga City by bus which takes about 15 minutes. We had a car and have been to a lot of places in Andalucia. The Semana Santa processions werde so impressive. Even if there was not yet season, at the weekend all restaurants near the house opened and the Malaga residents walked along the promenade and had a good time having lunch with the famous fish dishes from the region, p.ex. sardines prepared on old boats over the grill. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need for cooking and with a Spanish cookbook! The living room has got satellite TV and lots of DVDs and books all over the house + Free Wifi ! On the first floor you have got 3 bedrooms with comfortable beds and wardrobes with many blankets, sheets and towels as well as a small bathroom with shower. You will find a second spacious bathroom on the ground floor. On the second floor you have got a second kitchen which will be so practical for the outdoor season as well as a washing machine! And a very nice terrace with glass for the windy days with a splendid view over the beach and the harbour where you can watch all the different cruise liners coming to Malaga every day. Table and enough chairs for having breakfast or lunch or enjoying the sun on windy days! A lot of plants and nice lights make you feel very comfortable. You can climb the roof terrace on the top of the house which is just the highlight! Ideal for sunbaths in the deckchair! One of our best places we have been in the last years with enough space for everybody! The landlady was very helpful and returned even a forgotten bracelet without charges!
