Idyllic haven in the Galician countryside

Renovated old farm house with impressive gardens. Not directly on the coast, but hidden about 30 minutes away by car in the hilly hinterland where you rarely meet other tourists. Hiking in the surrounding villages and forests is great fun, but you can of course make your trips to the coast and the bigger cities of the region as well. The house is clean and well equipped. The owners were very friendly, relaxed and helpful, there weren't any problems.

A cosy house

We instantly felt at home in this place and I can't put my finger on the exact reason for that. It's homy rather than luxury anyway. The kitchen and the outdoor dining area are directly connected which is very good going between them. We spent a lot of time around the house actually. The pool area, and the big garden along with many different "toys" makes that easy. If you are into guitar music I can strongly recommend to buy some wine and invite the landlord, Gil, for a sesssion! Spanish guitar music is best live. Also, don't forget to pick lemons from the garden for your gin-tonics. I think it is a very good price/quality ratio and the landlord is very helpful and service minded. I strongly recommend it.
