Fantastic haven

5 of 5
We had a fantastic time here. Alfondo was so welcoming. The cabins were gorgeous very well equipped and a lovely welcoming drink. The pool was perfect with the many choice of chairs bed loungers to choose from. If you want somewhere to escape from it all but still be able to be in the hub of Cuenca then this is the place. We cannot fault it it is a little piece of heaven. Thank you so much alfondo for a perfect week

wonderful holiday

5 of 5
It was our pleasure to meet Carmen, Luis and Prince their cat and to stay in the beautiful little house next to theirs in the quiet street in the old town of Cuenca. The property was well designed, well equipped and charming, with lovely views and parking in the street nearby was a bonus. Although it was winter and bitterly cold, the sun was out and the house was warm throughout our stay. Towels, kitchen and bathroom linen also bedding was provided for us and there was soap and shower essentials in the bathrooms, too. The property was spotlessly clean, windows also gleaming. The wifi was welcomed so we could keep in touch with our son in the UK via skype. It was a bonus that there was snow in the nearby cuidad de encantada and at the source of the rio cuervo as the roads are kept clear of snow and ice and to visit these beautiful sights in a winter wonderland was indeed enchanting. The old town of Cuenca is delightful with a lot to do and breathtaking views over the gorge. The museum of Spanish Art is situated in the hanging houses, a must visit, and the beautiful painted houses in the plaza mayor a picture. The modern town is nearby with plenty of food shops for provisions. Thank you Carmen and Luis for your warm welcome and for letting us stay in your lovely rental home. If we come back to Cuenca, we know where to stay. x
