Beautiful location

5 of 5
The Casa was lovely and in a beautiful location with fabulous views. A mountain right outside the window! Great walks from the village and within a short drive from the house. There are no shops or bars in the village so we ate in bar/restaurants in local villages which were all excellent, inexpensive hearty food. We loved the Picos mountains and our only disappointment was staying for only 4 nights! You need a week or more to really enjoy the area.

Visiting Picos de Europa from Holanda!

5 of 5
We had a wonderful stay in the house Abuela Aurora and were happy we made the trip from Holland to here to spend 1.5 week holiday in Spain. Soto de Sajambre is a very peaceful and quiet little village (bread every second morning delivered by car ?). Our children (3 & 4) loved for example to play at the ‘Lavadero de las fuentes’ in the village. We made beautiful walks just from the house even up to the snow end of April at Vegabaño. The owners are very helpful and friendly and we really felt relaxed and at home (thanks so much for arranging the mountain bike and all the good suggestions what to explore). All-in-all a great experience and really a treasure to recommend also for visitors from outside of Spain. Christiaan, Gerda, Suzan y Walter
