A lovely villa in a beautiful setting

                                  5 of 5
Casa Tranquila is a beautiful, secluded little villa nestled in the hills above the town of Casabermeja. Well-equipped with everything you could possibly need, comfortable and cosy inside with good bedrooms, bathrooms and a decent kitchen, while outside the large pool, lovely gardens, and abundance of seating makes for a relaxing, serene and picturesque location. In short, a simply fantastic holiday base, whether you’re a large family or just a couple like us. Our week’s stay in June 2016 was wonderful. We hired a car at Malaga airport (Enterprise-Atesa, via Cicar online) and it was very helpful meeting Cristobal, husband of owner Sheila, initially in Casabermeja and following him up to the villa, which is a 10-minute drive. A friendly, charming and earnest chap, his informative tour of the facilities and grounds settled us in instantly. Casabermeja itself is easy to reach: 25min from the airport, just off A-45 junction 124 (where a petrol station is conveniently located). The small town has various amenities, restaurants and bars. We drove to various cities and shopped on return en route at Mercadona supermarkets (in Malaga, on Camino de Casabermeja, and in Antequera, on Avda. de la Estacion). Locating the villa is easy by navigating to a specific landmark, a pair of green gates at the last turn-off. The villa has very good WiFi and those who like their film and TV will be pleased to know there’s now a large new HD TV (not the old TV pictured) and box providing all the entertainment you could want. Many stunning places are within easy reach. Experiencing the enchanting sights, sounds and cuisine of an incredibly rich, historic culture makes getting out there so worthwhile, creating amazing memories you’ll treasure. We visited: - Mijas Pueblo (55 km, 43mins from Casabermeja, ice cream at Mayan Monkey!), - Ronda (112km, 1hour 21mins, see El Tajo & Puente Nuevo, and Palacio de Mondragon) - Cordoba (136km, 1h 23m, see La Mezquita, Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, Juderia, and Puente Romano) - Granada (113km, 1h 17m, see The Alhambra & Generalife, and Mirador San Nicolas) - Salobrena beach (106km, 1h 18m) - Seville (183km, 1h 52m, see Real Alcazar de Sevilla, Catedral de Sevilla & La Giralda, and Plaza de Espana) Casa Tranquila is highly recommended for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful, romantic, secluded location away from it all, but also within reach of stunning attractions and breath-taking experiences of a lifetime, if it takes your fancy.

                                  Amazing!!!!

We were a family of 10 but the house can accommodate 13-14 people and had everything you needed. The BBQ was just what we needed to eat at nights but there are local restaurants about 10 mins away which accommodate your every needs. The different spots to relax in the garden are fantastic and from the hammock the views of the mountains are spectacular. Malaga is only a 30 min drive away and the views from the house especially at night are amazing. Ian & Sally are the perfect hosts and took us shopping and helped with all our needs even cooking for us some of their favourite recipes. Their extended family of animals make the holiday so different and we loved the goats cheese from Paco the goat herder and thanks Sally for all the eggs!! There are even games in the garden for all ages to have fun with!! Thanks Sally & Ian for a wonderful holiday! We will definitely be returning to this haven of tranquility!!

                                  Blissful!

We have just returned from 10 days at this beautiful farmhouse feeling relaxed and refreshed. No one wanted to go home - what a find! We love Andalucia and have visited many times but this has been our favourite place to stay by far! The perfect mix of exploring and relaxing, table tennis and the trampoline were a real hit and the barbecue was fired up most nights as we ate outside admiring the fabulous views. The local village provided ample choice of food and great wine for self catering which meant we ate in every night - it was too good not to! The house itself was large and rambling which provided plenty of space for us all and the reviews are right - very comfy beds. We all loved it! Angela was the perfect hostess - just there when you needed her. Thank you so much for such a lovely holiday.
