Capdepera also has a number of geological marvels, not least of which are the incredible Cuevas de Arta. These are underground caves sporting long, thin stalactites that hang from their roofs.
Lovers of golf are in for a treat as this resort hosts a beautifully designed 18-hole course called Canyamel Golf. The facility is challenging and enjoyable to both the professional and the beginner. It also has a cute restaurant that yields spectacular views of the coastline.

Capdepera’s weather can be described as largely warm throughout the year. Its winters, if they can be called that, average between 12 and 16°C, though on occasion temperatures do drop below 10°C. Come May, however, temperatures are already way above 20°C and by August they have pierced the 30°C ceiling. This island generally sees little precipitation, most of which falls during autumn. October has the lion’s share of this rain with averages of just above 60mm.
