  • Stunning, luxurious villa, even better than the photos
    5 of 5

We had a wonderful 10 day break at this very beautiful villa. When we were choosing the villa, the photos enticed us to book but it’s even better in person. It’s a really light, large, private home with all amenities catered. We have a 6 and 8 year old, excellent facilities for them, including a magnificent playroom upstairs with plenty of good role play toys and games and a huge garage with bikes, table tennis and other toys to keep the children amused. The pool is wonderful, and very well maintained, as is the entire villa, it’s very well cared for. Marta was always on hand and very responsive whenever we had any questions. Local amenities are great, a 10 minute drive to centre of Peralada, lots of excellent restaurants, very welcoming and friendly locals. Carrefour is around 15 minute drive away and provides everything necessary for cooking at home. This was our first stay in a villa as opposed to a hotel resort and was one of the best holidays we have ever had together and we will be visiting again next year. A huge thank you to Marta and Josep, your are so helpful, friendly and welcoming, your villa is beautiful, very comfortable and our every need was catered for. See you next time!!

  • Beautiful village, gorgeous setting and house with rustic charms.

Rose’s house is in a stunning setting just off the main village square. The village has a lovely feel set amongst the vineyards. There is a shop with a very friendly owner (which also serves as a bar/cafe) and a great restaurant/bar in the village square, serving good local dishes at affordable prices. There is also a lovely bodega where you can taste the local wine whilst enjoying a view of the village. The village has a public swimming pool and is a good base to do walks in the surrounding attractive landscape. If you have your own car there are many places to visit along the costa brave coast, further inland and it is only a short hop into France (we got to Perpignan in 50 minutes). The house has a rustic charm. It has a lovely outdoor dining area and two nice bedrooms. We would recommend it as a place to stay.
