  • Excellent property, beautiful garden, friendly owner

The house was excellent, and we loved relaxing in the lovely garden. The owner responded very promptly to all questions, and was very friendly to deal with. I'd give the property 5 stars but 4 stars overall as the Menorcan weather in September was a bit damper than we'd hoped.

This was our second holiday at this beautiful villa and we booked 2019 before Christmas 2018 as it gets booked quickly. We love the homeliness of the place, the kitchen has everything you'd need to cook there and the open plan kitchen, dining & living room area is perfect for a happy family gathering (if you needed to be in doors. Which we did this year in May as weather wasn't the best) Outside there a large very comfortable dining table and beautiful & comfortable and clean sofa and chairs (the outside living room:) The swimming pool is cleaned very regularly and is a perfect size. (Inflatables are in shops around corner of villa:) All bedrooms are very comfortable and cool and with the ceiling fans we haven't missed air con and we did stay in 2017 in June during a very Hot Spell and it was very comfortable in all rooms. Upstairs in the really beautiful main bedroom with large comfortable sitting area, just off the room is another bedroom perfect for a child with lots of toys in the room plus another shower & toilet and this room has got air con. The en-suite off the main bedroom has a perfect large shower which is very private but you can still look out over the sea from the window:) plus the quacuzzi in the bath is a treat too:) Caroline the owner is always a phone call away and always happy to help when needed. There is also a back garden with dining area and BBQ which I imagine is wonderfully cool when weather is very hot plus a good place to dry clothes on the clothes horse. Plus there are 2 large Kyaks (room for 2 people in each) we used these a lot and really enjoyed) My husband carried them across the road outside the villa and down a short path to the waters edge where you can get into them safely. I wouldn't have been able to carry them but I could have with another person to help me. There is a hotel 2 minutes away that you can use, as long as you purchase drinks and I'd recommend the food there too and there's entertainment on most evenings. (Never too loud:) There's a couple of wonderful restaurants on the door step. The closet is Sa Cova (yes a cave:) we've only sat outside to watch the ducks (yes there are a very gorgeous ducks in Santandria beach:) The other is the Bahia Hotel where the food is exceptional & sunset truly breathtaking❤️ Santandria & Sa Caleta beaches are both 5 mins walk in different directions. Half hr walk to Cala Blanca-visit Hola Hola hippy style bar and watch the sunset🌞❤️
