  • Beautiful villa in a great location.
    5 of 5

We were 3 families with teenagers (11 of us in total) staying in this lovely villa in August. We arrived a couple of hours early and Gabriela kindly allowed us to check-in before time. There are 2 ensuite bedrooms downstairs (bunk room and a twin/double) and 4 further bigger bedrooms upstairs (each sleeping 3 people with 2 singles and a sofa bed) sharing 2 good size shower rooms. There is also a shower-room/toilet out by the welcoming pool. All of the rooms had good aircon and fans, They villa was very spacious (inside & out), which meant that the 3 families didn't feel they were ontop of eachother, and was clean, comfortable and peacefully quiet. The only thing we did miss was having a line to dry washing on, as the clotheshorse/airer was very wobbly and therefore liable to fall over at times.....minor issue though which didn't affect our holiday. The villa was just a short walk down to the main road where you can get a bus into Palma (1.35 euros each way) and also the opposite direction to Palma Nova and Illetes...both worth a visit. There is a small cove just at the bottom of the road which is rocky but lovely and clear. It is also worth a trip inland to Genova, which only cost 6 euros in a taxi and I can totally recommend a restaurant there called Meson Ca'n Pedro. I would not hesitate in recommending this stunning villa to others. Thanks Gabriela!

  • Excellent spacious villa for a family get together

We've just arrived back from our family holiday at Little Bridge House and absolutely loved it. In the main the house was great. We were a party of 8 adults and 6 children. Leah and her family were lovely and very helpful, offering assistance and advice when asked. We were a little unsure at first with the kitchen being in the middle of the house as opposed to the level where we could sit outside, but we soon got used to it and had no issues with that. The bedrooms are comfortable enough but could do with a little more storage space as for the first time in a long time we mostly lived out of our suitcases for a week. The pool was great fun and one of the reasons we had chosen the house was the above ground level pool because we had two babies in our party and it was much safer for them. The games room was fab and used every day by all. We had asked for and been provided with two cots which were good quality. We had also been provided with two highchairs without asking, and these were very well used. The outside space is lovely, although the house could do with a few more sunbeds. We arrived in the midst of a heatwave so the house was extremely warm and air con would have been a definite advantage but we absolutely get that the rental price would be much more expensive if this was provided. The house had a good number of fans which were used almost constantly during the week. At one point our power went off but it was a quick flick of a switch and we were back in business. There is a good quality bathroom on each floor which well served the people using the rooms on the same corridor. The house itself it set at the top of a pretty steep hill, and most days we went out to the lovely beach and restaurants around but coming back up 'the hill' each night wasn't much fun, although it was only a five minute walk so we're probably just too unfit. All in all the house was beautiful, set in a beautiful area and ample accommodation for the people in our party. We would visit again in a heartbeat, although it would appeal far more if they ever do decide to install air con. One little worry. The staircase in the house is quite open, and I feel I must point out that it would be pretty dangerous for children if they were not supervised at all times. Don't let that put you off, I just wished I'd been clued up on it before I'd arrived, not to do anything differently, just to be mentally prepared for it.
