Cabuerniga is a municipality located in the scenic Cantabrian countryside in northern Spain. Things to do in Cabuerniga, Spain

Caubuerniga holiday villas sit on a popular cycling route that links inland Cantabria with the city of Santander. The Saja River is also close to self-catering farmhouses in Cabuerniga and winds through the landscape for 40 miles. The nearby Saja-Besaya Natural Park is an attractive natural haven, with large beech forests. This is a great setting for scenic walks and bike rides.

Excellent family house

Good house and location for five adults and two young children. Lots of space and well equipped, and when we had a problem with boiler it was swiftly mended. Local agent living a few doors away. Garden small, really just a patio with large tables which had the morning sun. However the view in picture was very close and also had a playground. Ask where to get the local spring water which is lovely to collect. A choice of bars to eat within walking distance, and local supermarket up by the church more than adequate. Beaches were surprisingly quiet, sandy and easy to park. Afraid with little children we didn’t do much walking, but looks like it would have been beautiful.

Great property in great location

Comfortable and spacious for two of us (over 50s). 10 minute walk from Gaudi’s “El Capricho” - a must visit. Handy for large, clean, sandy beach - 20 minutes walk. Overlooks popular square with many cafes but can be made quiet. Recently finished and well equipped. Nice outdoor terrace with comfortable garden furniture. Helpful and welcoming hosts.
