  • Beautiful finca in fruit growing district
    5 of 5

Our 8 strong extended family enjoyed a wonderful week here in early August. The finca has been sympathetically restored and is lovely inside and out with ample utensils to suit all our needs. The house is situated in a lovely fruit growing area with grape vines, pear trees, nut trees and olive trees in the grounds. The grounds are well maintained and the children especially enjoyed the pool. The outside dining area was so convenient and comfortable. This part of Spain was new to us but so convenient to Alicante airport (appx 1 hr). The neighbouring town of Villena (about 20 mins away) was well worth a visit. Overall we had a great week and would highly recommend this property.

  • Lovely, traditional Spanish villa which was very private and immaculately clean. Perfect for us.

The villa was in a quiet location, but not too far from fantastic vineyards and amazing places to eat. The villa owner could not have been more helpful. The pool was lovely. The region was lovely as it was mainly inhabited by local Spanish people, so it felt far more authentic than the more touristy places we have stayed in in the past. The villa is remote, but is within easy access of a number of small towns and Alicante. I had avoided visiting Alicante in the past, but I loved it, especially having a cold drink overlooking the Marina. We wanted a quiet place in which to recharge our batteries and Villa Thea fulfilled our requirements perfectly. We plan to return in the future.
