We loved this house, we have stayed there before in 2012 and it still has that pull for us. It is very well equipped and the furnishings etc are top class. There were 4 bikes and 2 canoes for us to use had we wanted to. Nearly had to use the canoes as we were there during the tropical storm,in October. We were left a bowl of fruit and a couple of bottles of wine as a welcome gift, which was a nice touch. The roof top terrace is excellent the views are spectacular, mountains at the back and the bay of Alcudia to the front. It is very well equipped with lots of furniture and a brick built Bbq. There is even a fridge freezer up there to keep your drinks cool. Colonia itself is lovely, quiet and refined no high rises and great for families. Would highly recommend this house and Colonia. We feel that we would advise that a car is needed, there are plenty of taxis and a bus now and again. In saying that there is a lovely shop and deli that sells most things and freshly baked bread. There is a car hire place there as well as a chemist and local hardware store.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cati and Mequil’s lovely home, as host they could not have been more helpful with any queries or recommendation on places to eat and visit. The location of the villa is superb, isolated enough to be private but just over 5 minutes drive into Arta town. The amount of outside space is great for playing games or just relaxing, and most importantly for the children was the swimming pool. As this villa is Cati and Mequil’s own home there are a real family feel, and as such they ensure all the little extras/nice to haves are included to make your stay that much easier. Arta itself is a fantastic town, with some great restaurants and shops. It well worth while going to the market (early) on a Tuesday for some great local products and fantastic local foods.
