Stunning scenery & great location

10 adults wanted to be together in rural location with great views & scenery to celebrate an important birthday. Well equipped, helpful & knowlegable host who was keen to ensure we had a good time. It forfilled all our expectations. Interesting route up from nearest town but that added to the adventure - just glad we didn't do it in the dark the first time !

Lovely Home in the Sunshine

We had a lovely week in Alora. The house is well equipped and of a good size. All 3 bedrooms are large. The outdoor space is fantastic with 3 terraces plus the splash pool area which the children loved. There is plenty of sunshine but also plenty of shade available for when it gets too hot. We were delighted to receive a welcome pack on arrival which meant we didn’t need to head to shops straight away. Alora is a nice town to explore, the hills can be very steep at times but also short and manageable. It’s less than 10 minutes to walk into town where you will find plenty of places to eat and several supermarkets, one large one. We found the restaurants and shops fantastically priced especially when compared to the coast. We used the municipal pool a couple times, the changing rooms have had a refurbishment this year and it’s very clean. We got the train down to Malaga a couple of times, you can get a bus to and from the station for €1.55 each or we called a taxi for €5 with our cases on last day. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone wanting to visit the area. Kevin was also great to deal with responding to all queries promptly.
