A hidden treasure

We had a lovely holiday and the casa made it much more enjoyable. The property has everything. Space, tranquillity, facilities, amenities, views, comfort and nice owners. I have stayed at other lovely properties and what made this property even better was the size of the swimming pool, bicycles (+ numerous good trails), outhouse with BBQ and table/chairs and large garden. The area was even more rural than I thought beforehand. Salas Bajas is very small, otherwise the nearest town, Barbastro, is a 15min drive away. But Salas did have 2 highlights, a fantastic (almost Michelin starred) restaurant/bar, and a winery (with a cellar door). The rose and chardonnay are lovely in this recognised wine region. The area is big on outdoor activities rather than sights - a week would be plenty for the latter, but you could stay longer if you are into the outdoors. Really really minor suggestions to the owners when they next think about any building works: accessing the pool area via the kitchen (I even wonder whether you could switch the 2nd double bedroom with the kitchen). Many thanks for a great stay.
