Super trip during Polish "free days" in May 2017

5 of 5
We were in Peter's house during free days in May 2017. We were in group 8persons and we are really happy that we booked his house! All needed devices You can find in kitchen to prepare a dinner/supper/barbecue. House is MORE like comfortable for any kind of trip/holiday. For our use were 4 rooms where we sleeps in very good conditions. Kitchen and bathrooms are really good too. Architectural style in house also was done by owner with good taste! If You want prepare a barbecue- any problem grill is in the garden, terrace has got very nice view during morning coffee:-) Of course parking place for car is available too, we was by bus and we park there without problems. Garden looks also amazingly! House is locate in very quiet area were You can really rest, You have only a few kilometers to Sturovo city and Hungary city Esztegrom. For me and my friends house don't have any minus, We had also very good contact with host from time when we booked trip till leave a house (Peter the best greetings for You and wife). We can really commend this house and host everyone! Tomasz

Fantastic Chalet in a Picture Postcard setting

5 of 5
A party of four stayed 3/2/2017 for a week. The chalet is situated in a wooded area but within walking distance (5 mins) of Strba train station which you can get a train to Poprad, Bratislava etc (mainline) or to ski resort of Strbske Pleso. The Chalet is stunning, has open plan lounge/diner, kitchen/utility and bathroom. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs. The lounge has comfortable leather like sofa's, a huge TV (no live tv but they have 100-200DVD's!) and an incredible log fire. Kitchen was good size with fridge freezer, 2 ovens, hob, microwave and plenty of plates glasses etc. I was worried about a previous review about cleanliness but owner told me before we went that the old cleaner had retired and a new cleaner had been employed. It was VERY clean with plenty of towels and bedding. All rooms have electric heaters but they didn't come on much as the log fire heats the whole chalet. Plenty of hot water too. We stayed 7 nights and did some skiing, walking, shopping and eat and drank too much. I could not believe how cheap it was: 1/2 litre of beer around 1€, a large glass of wine €2 and food from €4/€5. We eat a few nights at Strba Pension a short walk where 4 pizza plus about 20 drinks cost us €45!!! We plan to go back in the Summer. Unbelievable area and great chalet.
