Amazing place, excellent views

We were a family of 8 looking for a bit of an adventure, Casa Ferica did not disappoint. There is so much to do in the surrounding area, anything from long walks in the forest, to quad biking up dirt roads, or even walking up the river in our case! we were greeted by Mariana, who was extremely friendly, and welcoming. She had prepared what could only be described as a feast upon our arrival. The property is in a good location, at the top of the village, offering stunning views. Every room has its own bathroom, so there were no queues for the shower/toilet, which makes a pleasant change when traveling win a large group. The Owners Daniel & Maria were very friendly, as was Mariana their administrator. Her food was also very good. If you do have the pleasure of staying here, I would recommend you try one of her meals at least once! We visited during the summer months, whilst the village of Azuga seems to be aimed at the skiing winter season, there was still a lot to do. I would recommend the ATV/Quad hire at INCHIRIERI Atv, next to the little shop. Overall the accommodation is very good, well located, and a pleasure to stay at. I would recommend this property to anyone, I am even considering booking again for the winter. My only criticism would be something that is beyond the owner’s control. The road to the property could do with some maintenance. It is quite a steep, uneven, loose surface road, so avoid taking a low vehicle. We had a taxi driver refuse to take us all the way to the property. It is not something that was an issue for us, but may be for others.

We five adults shared this apartment on our first visit to Bucharest. The location is perfect--a short walk to restaurants, the meeting place for the walking tour and the hop on/hop off bus, and next to an all-day grocery store and banks and shopping. The apartment is lovely and had all the necessary supplies. Wifi/TV/AC--all important--worked well and with windows closed the apartment was very quiet even with all the traffic. A 24-hour concierge provided added security. The host was very helpful before and during our stay.
