  • Modern, quiet townhouse on outskirts. Great for families with private garden and green area by pool
    4 of 5

Our family of 7 Adults and 2 under 2's stayed here in August 2018. The townhouse is well kept with a few wobbly door knobs that need repair but we couldn't fault it otherwise. It was perfect for our requirements. There where 2 private terraces and a veranda/garden area with comfy seating, all enclosed for child safety which was Great! Each bedroom had their own bathroom either ensuite or beside them. There where 2 good family seating areas, (1 with a sofa bed for extra guests and pool table). The beds themselves were basic and a little creaky, could probably do with an upgrade, but very clean with maids who came half way through our stay to tidy. If you are taking young children the main livingroom has a swinging glass door which is good however the stairs arent very child friendly, they are very modern with gaps between steps so you definitely need to watch little ones near them. Aircon in each room was fab. The host Bruno was brilliant and always reachable meeting all our requests such as high chairs, towels etc before arriving and whilst there. The property is located beside the old golf course in Vilamoura (10 mins in taxi to marina) so I would recommend arranging taxis or car hire for your stay. There is a Spar within walking distance (5 min walk) with all the essentials and a few restaurants nearby but not much else in walking distance. The townhouse was beautiful and the complex only had around 12 properties sharing the pool which was clean and well kept. We were even able to set up a volleyball net in the grass area and there was plenty of room to run around. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!

  • Stunning villa in a great quiet location
    5 of 5

My family of 8 including 6 adults, a 10 year old and a 6 year old spent 2 weeks here in August this year. When we booked we decided not to arrange a hire car as google maps suggested we may be able to walk to Vilamoura, for us however this was just too far out but using wowchauffer (the taxi company Antonio arranged for our transfer to and from the airport) we were able to arrange all our days out very easily and at very good prices (25€ for the 8 of us to Vilamoura, 35€ to Albufeira etc). The Villa itself is of a great standard. The pool is a great size and maintained regularly, the garden and seating area is well maintained too and a lovely place to relax in. Having all the facilities of a working home, washing machine, full kitchen including all utensils, dishwasher, large fridge freezer and with Supermarkets like Aldi, Intermarche and Pingo Doche just a short Uber journey away, you can eat like kings! Although Vale Judeu is a very quiet place, there a few local cafe’s, a few local shops and a great restaurant just a short walk (5minutes) from the Villa. One thing worth noting is that there is a need to make a daily trip to take the previous days rubbish to the waste bins which are located within the village, this is fine if you have a car but it’s around a 10 minute walk away so worth keeping in mind if you aren’t planning on hiring a car. Seashell/Antonio Palma was also great, resolving both issues we had with light bulbs the following day and keeping in contact with us throughout our stay to ensure we had no issues. We loved our holiday here, and would have no problem rebooking the same holiday In the future.
