Clean, well equipped, comfy beds. Secluded and a relaxing setting. Light and bright.

Lovely villa. Took us an hour from Faro airport. All we needed for a great week with the family. Fernando, contact person, really helpful and kindly brought some toys for our grandchildren to play with. Villa well equipped and beds comfy! And very clean. Dishwasher tablets, loo rolls, soap powder all provided. Our only concern was the pool is not fenced so had to be very child aware, but we knew that before we booked. The pool area is very pleasant to sit around and we were able to eat outside in different areas depending on the sun. Pool cleaned regularly. No television but internet connection ok. Lagos an interesting town, only 10 mins away with a marina to wander around. The old town has a variety of restaurants who were child friendly. Boat trips galore. The beach was also about 10 mins away, a long, safe, sandy beach, great for building sand castles. Head beyond Lagos to find smaller coves and beaches, but with a climb down! 226 steps to get to one. This is our 3rd trip to Portugal, first to the Algarve. The villa is safe and secluded and quiet, apart from barking dogs.....common to wherever we have stayed in Portugal! Would we return? Our granddaughter has asked if we can go back. The owner was also helpful and on the last day we weren't turfed out early as no one was taking over the property later that day. A little thing, but with a 14 month old toddler, it helped keep the stress levels low. Would we recommend this property? Yes.

Quiet, secluded & unoverlooked.

The villa is located 10 minutes from Lagos and has everything needed for a great stay. If you are seeking a peaceful and relaxing break in a stylish, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, then this is for you. A car is a must as there are no nearby facilities unless you like a long walk. The property faces South so the sun drenches it for most of the day making the decent sized pool a magnet to cool down. Whilst there, we saw a bird of prey, a stoat like animal which darted across the garden, a boar and a few cats. Whilst the three dogs next door regularly barked, turning the outside music up drowned them out. A second loo downstairs would have been beneficial but as there were only two of us, it was not an issue. We couldn't get any UK channels on the TV but spent most evenings out or sitting outside using the BBQ or having some drinks. There might be better villas in the area but this one satisfied both of us and we will certainly return should we chose the area again. Enjoy!
