Fabulous House and Pool. Fantastic Hosts!

5 of 5
We had a fantastic holiday. Martine and Dirk are lovely hosts, so welcoming and friendly. The house and the pool are immaculate and very well looked after. We arrived to a fridge full of goodies and food for our first evening - a lovely surprise. Lots to see and do nearby and they provided fantastic suggestions for local restaurants which are not too far away. The pool is perfectly situated and is bathed in sun all day. They have a fabulous pool side house where you can also rest in the shade. They also have a very reasonably priced poolside mini bar which was a lovely touch. Our kids had a great time In the pool with the various floats. We had a very relaxing time and could not fault anything. Thank you so much Martine and Dirk. We will definitely be recommending to friends.

Peaceful locality

4 of 5
Spent 5 days here during a cool spell over easter and appreciated the stove for warmth and atmosphere, and the umbrellas kindly supplied by Mila. We were privileged to be her first ever guests and found everything carefully considered and prepared. Mila could not be more helpful. The house is in a residential neighbourhood, (not easy to find initially) and easy to park. It's an easy walk into town (downhill) and quite a pull back uphill again. Modest local shops, bakeries and cafes and plenty of good restaurants in town and a great local market. House would be great for families, with a secure garden Not that much to do in Coimbra but plenty within a short drive.
