wild and private

Lovely wild spot of boulders, broom and cork oaks, overlooking tumbling stream below. Choice of sunny patio or shady garden, with assured privacy. House is well equipped and comfortable, and Bruno is v helpful and has excellent English. Our main interest was birds, which due to the terrain/vegetation are heard more than seen, including Golden Oriole, Bee-eaters, Hoopoe and Nightingale (all night in April!), plus almost daily Booted Eagle cruising overhead. Cross the nearby Spanish border for supreme raptor country (Griffon, Black and Egyptian vultures, Eagles etc).

Peaceful and relaxing

5 of 5
My husband and I and our poodle Jodie had a wonderful week here. The weather was kind but we enjoyed staying in in the evenings beside a blazing fire. It is so quiet here and Peter and Rosemary are the best of hosts. We loved picking sweet tangerines off the tree. If you love nature and good walks this is the place for you. it was just us this time but it is three bedroom and very spacious, plenty of room for six. Thoroughly recommend.
