The villa was beautiful. Stunning location and it had everything we could or would need. Very clean and spacious and Alvaro was very helpful and quick to assist in anything we asked. We went as an extended family and all of us said we would return in a heartbeat.Portugal and it's people are beautiful.

A truly unique, private, woodland wonder! You cannot help but feel totally relaxed the minute you pass through the gates. From the main living area, you feel like you are in a treehouse, completely wrapped by nature. The living accommodation is very well laid out and suited our family perfectly (the teenagers could sleep well away from us!). From the leafy shade of the main house, the pool area was the complete opposite, with full sunshine all day, lovely eating areas and the 'man cave' which kept us all entertained. If you are feeling active, there were canoes to take out onto the river which we enjoyed, even better:an early morning canoe when the morning mist is rolling along the river, followed by a hearty breakfast on the veranda. There are plenty of very good restaurants nearby, which would suit all tastes and budgets. We found eating out extremely reasonable and pleasurable. Would recommend taking a look on trip advisor to find some superb restaurants within a 15 min drive. The location of the property is great for exploring the region with very easy access into Porto itself and all the nearby attractions. However, the best part of any day out was always coming back to the house for a late afternoon dip! Thank you for sharing your wonderful hideaway.
