Fantastic - highly recommended!

Having just returned from a 3 week vacation, the second in 2 years, I have no hesitation in recommending this property as a destination for couples, families who are looking for a relaxing peaceful base that is only 15 minute drive to Albufeira Old Town. The property: The quality of interior is exceptional and the villa is well looked after. The furnishings are what you would expect to find at home and not cheap low-quality items people often fill holiday rentals with. The kitchen is well stocked with all items you will need for your stay and the bedrooms are all comfortable with AC throughout. For security and just peace of mind with respect to leaving valuables etc. in the villa there are electronic shutters associated with all windows and the doors are high-end robust units. If like the wife and I you don't go on holiday to sit inside all day and the important areas are outside. The pool area with patio for sun loungers, covered area with comfortable seating, outdoor dining table and BBQ are all perfect and no complaints. The photos on the website don't do the outside area with the lovely gardens justice. Location: The villa is situated in a rural location (it is isolated and a car is required) with gives the villa (1) privacy and (2) quiet surroundings. There is a train line about 500m away but the trains pass infrequently and associated noise is not intrusive. What we love about the location is that not only are you 10 minutes from Algarve shopping centre, 15 minutes from Albufeira, 25 minutes from Vilamoura, but you have good connection to the motorway (A22) and old road that runs parallel (N125) with the motorway. Within 40 minutes you can be approaching Cape St Vincent at the west end of the Algarve or Tavira at the eastern end of the Algarve. We love to get out and about and see all the different resorts and old Portugese towns. Owners: Ken and Yvonne are a dream to deal with - going the extra mile before you arrive to ensure you have a nice vacation and supplying you with information about the region (as well as the cheapest car hire places ). Local agent: Nuno and his father Rogerio are your local contacts. Both are very professional and friendly and make you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. They make it obvious if you're not happy about something speak to them ASAP and they will fix it. During both visits we have had no issues. In summary I would highly recommend Villa Laurena for a relaxing break.

The villa was lovely. It was spacious, extremely well equipped and positioned in a nice village.

We were so pleased with the villa when we arrived. Everything was spotlessly clean and ready to go. The owner Kirsten provided her own phone number and responded really quickly to any queries we had. The outdoor space was lovely and the pool a lot bigger than expected. All of the fixtures and fittings within the villa were really good quality. The villa was located centrally within Paderne with a couple of nice restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. A Aldi and Lidl were an approximate 15 min car ride away to pick up the shopping. In summary we had a great week there and I would happily book the villa again.
