  • A wonderful villa for ages

The villa can be hard to find but when you do, wow. The gardens are well looked after with lemon apple and pear trees, there gapes hanging all round the edge of the garden. The pool is a good size and in the sun most of the day. The villa has all the amenities you need and if you have children the basement is perfect with table football and pool table. There is also a small cinema with about 10 up to date films. The nearest restaurant is about a 20 minute walk there a few local bars that take about 10 to fifteen minutes to walk to. Where the villa is situated is in a quiet location and the view to the hills are nice. Alexandra and her partner are really helpful and only a phone call away. We had fresh bread rolls delivered every day free of charge. Overall I can not fault the villa or the owners would love to come back again one day

  • Super, tranquil, secluded location

We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay. A well equipped house and the fresh water pool was a delight. The views are lovely. Arie was a great host (don't forget to ask for directions). A great getaway location with easy access (30 mins by car) to Beaches, Porto, Amarante, River Duoro etc. There is much to do in the area: sight seeing, walking, riding bikes, train ride, swimming in the sea and rivers. Everyone we came across was very friendly. We'd love to come back!
