Large spacious villa with beautiful pool

4 of 5
The villa is a lovely property with plenty of space and a beautiful swimming pool. The kitchen is very well equipped and there were more than enough towels - for bathroom and pool use. We found Luis extremely kind and helpful and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had all the information we needed. Only negative (and not related to the villa itself, but the location) is that you cannot get around without a car - it was too far to walk anywhere. So going out to a restaurant, supermarket etc. required you to drive/get a taxi which we found very expensive.

A wonderful, spacious, comfortable villa.

We had a great week in Villa Aster. The villa is large and was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Lovely quiet area. Terrace and swimming pool were great with beautiful views over the golf course. Very close to the communal facilities. The main swimming pool on the complex is beautiful and not expensive to enter and we spent time there. The restaurant at the entrance to the estate was also excellent with a wide range of food and a lovely atmosphere in the evenings. The supermarket was well stocked and reasonably priced - infinitely better than the local alternatives (Lidl and Aldi - don't bother with them). The local beaches were incredible and only 5 mins away by car - huge expanse of soft sand, and very family friendly. Lots of good eating places along the beach. Easy to get back into Lisbon for a day trip - only took 40 minutes by car. The agents - Allure Villas - were very nice to deal with and sorted out any issues very quickly, and gave good advice about the local area. We would definitely return.
