Perfect location for a dive in to culture

5 of 5
The apartment is perfectly located for a host of museums, world class galleries and affordable restaurants and other eateries. Your view is straight across roof tops at MAAT and the river.Travel to all parts of Lisbon and the coast both north and south of the river couldn't be easier..5 min walk to the train, seconds to a stop for tram and bus with a ride on beautiful old tram No:15 adding old world charm to the journey. LX factory with it's quirky mix of arty shops and unique restaurants in an old printing works is a ride or walk away. Hiring bikes couldn't be simpler as there are lots of hire shops across lisbon and along the coast, brilliant if you want to be a little more adventurous and the sandy beaches out toward cascais are a great city escape. Electric bikes were a boon for getting up hills and covering more ground than we could have on foot in the back streets and along the river track. And the apartment itself...beautiful quirky decor with a modern twist, well equiped, aircon in every room for a quick cool down. Lots of useful info from the owners too. It can be a little noisy as its on a busy street but windows closed its quiet....of if you are like me, earplugs and windows wide in the bedroom. Luisa, who meets you when you check in was really helpful and gives you a full tour of 'how it works' so no guessing needed! one small word of warning...the stairs are steep, heavy cases are a two person carry really.. safer, but they are not impossible. You get fit going up and down but that's the same all over Lisbon...hills and steps are a major theme and just add to the adventure.

Excellent Property

5 of 5
This is a lovely Apartment in a quiet part of Lisbon, the views from the terrace are beautiful, looking over the roof tops of Belem to the river. Location is excellent 10 minutes walk to the trains which in 10 minutes take you to central Lisbon. The property is well equipped with a very comfortable bed and an excellent shower. The apartment is clean and modern. The city of Lisbon is lovely and as we only stayed for four days we will return.
