  • Return to Lisbon after 50 years.

The great thing about the apartment is that it is very close to the city centre and very near to all transport links. Don't be put off by the exterior of the building as like many others in the city the outside walls are covered in graffiti. The apartment is well equipped with everything you need and an extra feature but a very welcome one is a small terrace with garden. This is an absolute delight even at the end of October. The decor of the apartment has been given a lot of thought and is very pleasant on the eye. There are loads of very good restaurants within walking distance. It is an ideal base from which to explore Lisbon and beyond. Would recommend the apartment 100%. Great value for money.

  • Lovely, large apartment with very nice piano!

We chose this property for its piano, as we are both musicians. But beyond a very fine Yamaha 6' grand (which could do with a tune), the apartment was very gracious, well equipped, and a pleasure to stay in. It is very conveniently located, and although the tram stop just outside is quite noisy, it is certainly convenient! There are buses around the corner, too, and it's within easy walking distance of much of the central city, especially if you like steep climbs! It is well-served by shops - decent supermarket very close by, and some excellent bars. An especial plug, for any oenophiles, for 'il Mundo do Vino', an excellent off-licence also providing very good tastings and advice generally! Highly recommended.
