- Peaceful, Tranquil, and Amazing!
There were seven of us and we spent the week here between Christmas and New Years. This place is so amazing! The location is very peaceful and somewhat secluded. We relaxed, played in the Ocean and just hung out on the property. The property is pretty special and they have done a great job making it comfortable. We rented surfboards and played in the Ocean for hours and hours. The water was warm and you could spend three to four hours in the Ocean and never get cold. We were there for eight days and only had one dinner out. Jackie prepared our breakfast and lunches and we prepared our dinners. There are a couple of grocery stores within a ten minute drive (Coronado) and this was a great way to vacation. Jackie and Lorenzo were wonderful. The biggest challenge was that only one of our seven spoke Spanish and it was sometime difficult to communicate. However they were very patience with us. Andres was wonderful to deal with. I was a little reluctant to pay all of the money in advance without knowing what to expect. However all of our dealings were wonderful and I trust him implicitly. We loved this place and hope to make it back again!

I'm an American who grew up in Panama for 10 years (1977-1987). Some of my fondest memories of my childhood are our beach vacations in Palmar. It's been just shy of 30 years since I left, and this was my first trip back. I was excited to visit, and was so happy that Palmar hasn't changed too much and was still as lovely as ever. The location of this apartment is awesome, and the views from the balcony are amazing. I regret that I missed the sunrises, I didn't manage to wake up in time, but I'm sure they're spectacular. There was plenty of room in the apartment for the three of us, and all the things necessary for cooking, sleeping, showering, cleaning, etc. were supplied. Marlene was pretty accessible via text whenever I had any questions. Grocery stores and restaurants are easily accessible. There is still construction going on at the building site, so during the day there was a bit of noise, clutter and debris from the construction and workers. The workers were friendly, though, and were done working by 4-5pm. Despite that, I think the value was great - obviously the construction will eventually end! My husband, son, and I really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone!
