Very lovely house, unpretentious, charming and practical. Great views of the 'big African sky' and magical sunsets across the Atlantic from the large roof terrace, together with lovely views along the Ramparts towards Tangier and the west towards Rabat.
The house is very comfortable and has everything you need, we spent 3 weeks there and had no issues. The photos of the house are a true rendition. It was not humid while we were there as a previous reviewer mentioned. The wifi connection is amazing and can connect anywhere in the house.
Loved the house but would not recommend for young children of toddler age (1 &1/2 to 3 years approx), the stairs do not have banister guards.
The house is in the Medina, one of cleanest and nicest Medina's in Morocco. The summer art festival where artists come from all over the world to paint impressive wall murals makes the medina very colourful.
Would recommend a car if you want to experience the nicer beaches outside of the town - Paradise and Manera as they are difficult to get to without your own transport.
We liked La Perla (French Chef) and Dar Al Maghrebia (Moroccan) restaurants, also La Place for fish.
Figuiettes is the ideal place to spend your family holiday. The house is airy and spacious, with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea in the distance and an open-plan feel to it. There are hammocks and cushions for both adults and children to lounge and relax in. There is a vegetable and herb garden adjacent to the house and we were invited to pick vegetables which were then freshly cooked with the help of a local cook who works at the house.
Other bonuses were a sandy beach 30 minutes walk from the house across scenic hills. The house is removed from the hustle and bustle of some of the more touristy urban locations, but still within driving distance of towns and historical sites. It is definitely somewhere we would return to
